Freedom delegation
Kate Hudson CND, Bruce McKenzie (Green), Ray Silk (SSAC) & Jean Lambert MEP (Green Party) are a delegation from the Save Shaker Aamer Campaign (SSAC) with an urgent letter to Prime Minister David Cameron about an injustice, marking the 9th year anniversary of Shaker Aamer's detention in Guantanamo. Shaker has endured nine years of inhuman treatment, victim of US abduction, torture, indefinite detention and separation from his family, in the so called 'war on terror' in Guantanamo and previously at Kandahar and Bagram, without even a charge, let along a trial. The campaigners would Shaker, a London resident, to be released to rejoin his family again. Downing Street, London, UK, 05/02/2011
