Michael Culver

Michael Culver, actor and peace campaigner, who is remembered by fans of the Star Wars film saga for playing Captain Needa in The Empire Strikes Back; he played a major part in, the David Lean film, “A Passage to India” as a bigoted police inspector. He is also known for his theatre stage work and by television viewers for his roles including, Major Erwin Brandt in the 1970s BBC drama Secret Army; and he played the Prior Robert in the television series, Cadfael. Stage work includes playing Sir William MacPherson in The Colour of Justice,at the Tricycle Theatre. London, 3rd January 2007
