“Prime Minister Tony Blair 21/6/07
Petition to the Prime Minister. The Peace Strike

Since British forces illegally invaded and occupied Iraq 1 million Iraqis of whom 300,000 are children have been killed. None of the victims had harmed Britain. This is the worst crime ever committed by a British Government. The undersigned demand that you stop the killing and the occupation and initiate criminal proceedings against those responsible for the genocide in Iraq.” 10 Downing Street, London, UK, 21/06/2007

Eric Levy (1928 - 2022):
In the lead up to the invasion of Iraq when Tony Blair was promoting the proposed war, Eric Levy was doing the opposite; he went with others to Iraq to be human shield to try to dissuade the bombing of that country.
