Geoff Dunbar

Geoff Dunbar working on his forthcoming illustrated book in his studio at home. Geoff Dunbar, film maker, animator, designer, illustrator, created the illustrations for the Paul McCartney book, High in the Clouds. Geoffrey Dunbar, is also an animation film director, whose collaborations with Paul McCartney includes, Tropic Island Hum, Tuesday, Rupert and the Frog Song. Dunbar's debut film was Lautrec (1974) which won the Palme D'Or (Golden Palm) at the Cannes Film Festival. His second film, Ubu, (1979) based on Alfred Jarry's 1896 play Ubu Roi, won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, and attracted the attention of Paul McCartney, an admirer of Jarry's work.
