Music outside St Paul's Cathedral
Music at Occupy London, anti-capitalist economic justice protest camp, Tent City, next to the historic St Paul's Cathedral built by Sir Christopher Wren. Occupy London are campaigning in protest against the Bankers, the Banking sector, speculators, London Stock Exchange, siphon management, big business corporations and the government, for the negative impact these commercial institutions and leaders practices of greed are having on ordinary people and the environment. Placards, banners, posters, in conversations and in speeches the protesters promote a variety of ideas on economic reform, society and other pressing issues. Tent City has a number of improvised amenities, including Tent City University, job centre tent, library, interfaith tent, cafe, First Aide, information tent, piano, musical performance, children's and women's tent and more. Tent City attracts much interest and is visited by members of the public both supportive and critical, fellow protesters, tourists, girls on hen parties for example seemingly not so much concerned with the political aspects of the demonstration and all variety of people take in the Tent City culture of free expression. The tented areas straddle land that may be in part the St Paul's Churchyard, public land, City of London Corporation controlled land and land of unknown ownership. Ludgate Hill, City of London, UK, 26th November 2011
