The smelly plant, carrion flower or corpse flower (amorphophallus titanum also known as titan arum) only blossoms on average between four to ten years. In its original environment the native tropical forests the plants putrid smell attracts the sweat bees from faraway, necessary to pollinating it, within its short blossoming period.
