Freddie Young OBE, BSC (1902 - 1998), British cinematographer. Young is possible best known for his work on David Lean's films Lawrence of Arabia, Dr Zhivago & Ryan's Daughter all three won him Academy Awards for best cinematography. He has also been director of photography on many other distinguished films.
