Young poet

A young poet comes up and reads her excellent poem to the photographer out side the City of Westminster Magistrates Court Horseferry Road. She is the daughter of eminent peace campaigner Charity Sweet who is shortly to be arrested for committing the new crime of Free Speech renamed Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005, that restricts the right to demonstrate within the SOCPA exclusion zone around the Parliament area, with out permission from the police, the government is thinking about extending the zone! In the background can be seen on the far left peace campaigners Brian Haw holding placard and Steve Jago in a yellow Hi Vis Vest just before arrest. London, 9th July 2007
