Lieu Unique

Lieu Unique, an arts centre, the ornate tower is the remaining one of two that originally comprised the entrance to the LU (Lefèvre-Utile) biscuit factory, which was founded in Nantes in 1846. In 1974 the LU factory building started to be deconstructed and the factory moved. This one tower remained which was bought by the city in 1995 and renamed Le Lieu Unique and reused as a contemporary art centre with many cultural activities. Nantes, France, 23/12/2017
