Tony Blair has been a strong advocate for war and is widely credited with leading Britain into the immensely unpopular war against Iraq. The controversial lecture attracts both a silent peace demonstration by, Pax Christi the worldwide Catholic movement for peace and also a loud but peaceful one by Stop the War Coalition.
