True Jew

On the coffin are words that include a notable quotation: “To be a Jew means always being with the oppressed, never with the oppressors” Marek Edelman, who was the last surviving leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising against the genocidists in 1943. The Polish Jews were then facing a similar persecution and persecutors as the Palestinian currently are in Gaza. London, Saturday 19 July 2025
